Conus taitensis, Hwass in Bruguière 1792

Ces deux Rhizoconus taitensis viennent de Tahiti via brocante et coll. Juvigny. Dans le passé il fut Conus taheitensis Voir plus bas l' historique de Mike Filmer. Par comparaison avec Rhizoconus rattus il a la lèvre rectiligne, l' intérieur bleu pâle avec une trace blanche en arrière et l' apex/premiers tours étroit et jaune. (Voir). Il est réputé être présent aux Îles Marquises. Taille: 39 et 35 mm.

These two Rhizoconus taitensis come from Tahiti via flea market and coll. Juvigny. In the past he was Conus taheitensis See below the history of Mike Filmer. Compared with Rhizoconus rattus it has straight lip, pale blue interior with a white trace back and apex / first turns narrow and yellow. (See) It is deemed to be present in the Marquesas Islands. Size: 39 and 35 mm.
